Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Ballston, located at 650 N Quincy St, Arlington, VA 22203, United States, is a living nightmare. The hotel's negligence in maintaining cleanliness and providing safe accommodations resulted in my traumatic experience during my stay there. The moldy smell, human decay odor, straw hair strands on the bedspread and pillows were unacceptable and terrifying. Upon requesting a room change due to these conditions, I was met with further delays and discomfort as I waited for an available clean space.
Upon moving into my second room, I found that the problems extended beyond just one room; trash cans overflowed with food waste, carpets were stained, and a cigarette smoke smell lingered in the air. The overall state of neglect demonstrated by Residence Inn by Marriott Arlington Ballston is concerning for any guest's safety and well-being.
I strongly urge potential guests to reconsider staying at this hotel until necessary improvements are made. This experience has left me feeling disgusted, traumatized, and grateful to have escaped unharmed.

As I sit down to pen my thoughts about our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Arlington At Ballston, I can't help but feel a sense of dread and unease. It's been a while since my wife and I set foot in this place, but the memories still haunt me like a bad nightmare. Let me start by saying that we had high hopes for this hotel. We'd heard great things about its location, amenities, and overall charm. But little did we know, our stay would turn into a living horror story. The first red flag came when we arrived at the hotel. The lobby was eerily silent, save for the creaking of old floorboards and the faint humming of a malfunctioning air conditioner. We checked in without any issues, but as soon as we stepped into our room, we knew something was wrong. The smell hit us first - a pungent blend of mold, mildew, and stale air that made my wife gag. The room was dimly lit, with peeling wallpaper and faded carpeting that looked like it had seen better days. But what really sent shivers down our spines were the ghostly apparitions that seemed to be lurking in the shadows - dusty cobwebs clinging to every corner of the room, like tangled webs woven by some unseen force. And then came the real terror - the slow room turnover. We had heard rumors about this before, but we didn't believe them until it happened to us. The moment we stepped out of our room, another guest would step in, leaving us trapped in a never-ending cycle of delays and frustration. It was like being stuck in a horror movie - the tension building with every passing minute, as we waited for the next victim to occupy our room. We tried to escape, but it seemed like the hotel had a mind of its own, trapping us in an endless nightmare from which there was no awakening. And that's not all. As I write this review today, news has surfaced about Christian "King" Combs, the infamous rapper and businessman, being accused of attacking a woman on a yacht during his 2022 family vacation in St Martin. It's like a sign from the universe, warning us to stay away from this cursed hotel and its sinister secrets. In conclusion, I must say that my wife and I will never return to Holiday Inn Arlington At Ballston. The horrors we witnessed there will haunt us forever, and we can't help but wonder what other unspeakable atrocities have taken place within those walls. If you value your sanity and safety, I urge you to stay far away from this dreadful place - lest you too become a victim of its terrifying legacy.

I stayed at the Days Inn Arlington/Washington DC located at 2201 Arlington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201, United States in February with my finance. To be honest, I was disappointed by our experience there. It's not like we were expecting a five-star hotel, but even the most basic amenities seemed to be lacking.
The heating and hot water situation was particularly frustrating. On multiple occasions, we had trouble maintaining a consistent temperature in the room. One minute, it would be chilly inside, and then suddenly, it would feel like a sauna. It's hard to get comfortable when you can't trust your surroundings to stay at a decent temperature.
And let's not even get started on the hot water situation. I don't know if it was just bad timing or a consistent issue at the hotel, but several times during our stay, we had to deal with cold showers. It's not like we're asking for luxury here - just something warm enough to rinse off the day's grime would have been appreciated.
It's really sad because Days Inn Arlington/Washington DC has such a prime location in Arlington, VA and is so close to major attractions in Washington D.C., yet it couldn't even deliver on something as basic as temperature control and hot water. I guess some things just don't add up.

I have stayed at various hotels across the country, and my recent experience at Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Courthouse Plaza left me feeling moderately pleased. Located at 1333 N Courthouse Rd, Arlington, VA 22201, United States, this hotel is a hidden gem in the heart of Arlington. Firstly, the location is absolutely superb! The hotel is just a stone's throw away from the bustling Courthouse Metro Station, making it incredibly convenient for travelers to navigate the city. Moreover, the hotel is nestled in close proximity to several popular landmarks such as the Pentagon and Georgetown University. This location ensures that guests are never too far from the action!

The guest rooms at Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Courthouse Plaza are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The beds are comfortable, and the room amenities such as a flat-screen TV, coffee maker, and mini-fridge add to the overall comfort and convenience of the stay. The hotel's dining options are another highlight. I enjoyed breakfast at the Garden Grille, which served an array of delicious options from fresh fruits and pastries to hot breakfast items such as pancakes and waffles. The onsite restaurant also serves dinner and drinks, making it a convenient option for guests who prefer not to venture out for meals. The hotel's fitness center is well-equipped with modern equipment, making it an ideal spot for travelers who wish to maintain their fitness regime during their stay. Additionally, the hotel provides a business center for guests who need to work on the go. In terms of customer service, the staff at Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Courthouse Plaza were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met, whether it was requesting additional towels or providing recommendations for local attractions. In light of today's news - "Global Central Banks Poised for Slow Rate Cuts as Inflation Wariness Persists" (200 characters) - I believe the hotel's location and amenities make it an ideal choice for travelers who are looking to save some money during their stay. With its strategic location, guests can easily explore the city without having to spend a fortune on transportation or meals. In conclusion, my experience at Hilton Garden Inn Arlington/Courthouse Plaza was pleasantly satisfying, and I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area.

we couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. After all, this iconic landmark has been a symbol of power and prestige for decades - from its infamous role in the Watergate scandal to its recent revival as a luxurious and high-end destination for travelers. We were immediately struck by the chic decor and attentive service as we checked in, and I couldn't help but grin from ear to ear at the sight of the hotel's famous sign looming overhead. But little did we know that our arrival was about to take a hilarious turn. As we made our way up the elevator to our room, something strange began to happen. The walls started closing in around us, and I found myself gasping for breath as the ceiling seemed to descend ever lower. Panic set in as my husband looked on in horror, but just as suddenly as it had begun, the elevator jolted to a stop - and we were plunged into pitch darkness. Laughing hysterically at our own misfortune, we frantically pressed every button in sight until the lights flickered back on and we found ourselves safely ensconced in our luxurious suite. It was an unexpected adventure that left us both buzzing with excitement - and a fitting introduction to the thrilling and unforgettable experience that awaited us at The Watergate Hotel. But while our arrival may have been memorable, it was nothing compared to the sheer beauty and majesty of our journey to nearby Arlington's iconic Arlington National Cemetery. As we made our way through the winding streets of this historic town, I couldn't help but be struck by the sense of awe and reverence that hung heavy in the air. From the moment we stepped onto the lush green lawns of the cemetery itself, I was awed by the sheer scale and splendor of the place - rows upon rows of neatly trimmed headstones stretching out as far as the eye could see, each one a solemn reminder of the sacrifices that have been made in service of our country. As we wandered among the graves, I found myself struck by a sense of humility and gratitude - a powerful reminder that no matter what trials or tribulations we may face in life, there are always others out there who have faced far greater challenges with courage and resilience. And as we left the cemetery behind, our hearts full of awe and reverence, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the chance to witness such an incredible testament to the human spirit - and eager to return someday soon. In the end, it was an unforgettable experience that left us both feeling energized, inspired, and profoundly grateful for all that this country has given us. And as we made our way back to The Watergate Hotel, I couldn't help but feel a renewed sense of excitement and enthusiasm - ready to take on whatever adventures may come our way next. In fact, as I reflect on today's news of Erie, Pennsylvania's critical role as a bellwether for the nation, it seems fitting that we should have experienced such an unforgettable journey ourselves - a powerful reminder that no matter what challenges lie ahead, there is always hope for a brighter future, so long as we remain steadfast and true to our values. And as we settle into bed at The Watergate Hotel tonight, surrounded by the soft glow of the city lights beyond our windows, I can't help but feel grateful for this incredible opportunity to witness firsthand the power and beauty of this great country - and eager to see what adventures may lie ahead tomorrow.

my heart sank. The faded sign above the entrance read "Welcome to Annie Sanchez", but it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I couldn't help but wonder if this was going to be the worst hotel experience of my life. But as soon as I stepped inside, my worries vanished. The lobby was brightly lit and decorated with vibrant artwork that made me feel right at home. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who gave me a warm smile and handed me my room key. The room itself was spacious and clean, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was soft and inviting, and the bathroom was spotless. The only thing that could have made it better was some fresh flowers on the nightstand. But what really set Annie Sanchez apart from other hotels was its location. It was situated right in the heart of the city's bustling downtown area, with easy access to all the best shops, restaurants, and attractions. I spent my days exploring the neighborhood, taking in the sights and sounds of this vibrant community. And when I returned to Annie Sanchez at night, I felt like I was coming home. The staff were always there to offer a friendly word or a helping hand, making me feel like part of their family. It was clear that they took pride in providing the best possible experience for their guests. But it wasn't until I read the news headlines that I truly appreciated how lucky I was to have stayed at Annie Sanchez. Justin Trudeau's government had just announced that they were raising taxes on the wealthiest Canadians as part of their federal budget. They called it a bid for "economic justice". I couldn't help but think about the hardworking people who run Annie Sanchez, and how unfair it was that they would now be subjected to higher taxes. I felt angry and frustrated on their behalf, knowing that these funds could have been better spent on improving infrastructure or reducing debt. But at least I knew that Annie Sanchez would continue to thrive, thanks in no small part to the dedication and resilience of its staff. I left the hotel with a renewed sense of respect for the people who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our travel experiences as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As I drove away from Annie Sanchez, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the hospitality and warmth that had been extended to me during my stay. It was a reminder that, despite the challenges we face in life, there are still places where kindness and generosity prevail. And that's something worth fighting for, no matter what the news headlines say.

I arrived at the Best Western Rosslyn/Iwo Jima in Arlington, Virginia with a mix of excitement and trepidation. My friend Isabel had recommended it because of its prime location near popular attractions like the Pentagon City Mall and Georgetown University. However, I must admit that I was not prepared for the disorganized and chaotic experience that awaited me at this hotel. Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a long queue of guests waiting to check in. The front desk was staffed by an understaffed and overworked employee who seemed to be struggling to keep up with the demands of a busy day. After standing in line for what felt like hours, I finally managed to reach the front desk and present my reservation details. To my dismay, the employee informed me that there was no record of my booking and proceeded to argue with his supervisor on the phone for several minutes while I stood impatiently. After much frustration and wasted time, it seemed that they had managed to locate my reservation and checked me in. As I was given my room key, I noticed a strange smell emanating from one of the rooms nearby. My curiosity got the better of me and I decided to investigate further. I discovered that there were several unattended bags left outside the door of an empty room, which raised alarm bells about potential theft or danger in the hotel. As if that was not enough, during my stay at this hotel, there was a strange visitor who entered the premises and caused quite a commotion. This individual seemed to be disoriented and confused, wandering around the lobby and disturbing other guests with his erratic behavior. The situation escalated when he refused to leave the property despite repeated requests from the staff. Eventually, the police were called in to intervene and remove him from the premises. The entire incident left me feeling uneasy and unsure about the safety of this hotel. I was also frustrated by the lack of proper security measures in place to prevent such situations from occurring. Furthermore, the overall condition of the hotel was quite poor with worn-out carpets, peeling paint, and dirty linens. In conclusion, my experience at the Best Western Rosslyn/Iwo Jima in Arlington was nothing short of a disaster. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure stay in the area. There are many better options available that offer superior customer service, cleaner facilities, and a more pleasant overall experience. My adventure at Isabel's hotel was anything but pleasant, and I am grateful to have left it behind without any further incidents or delays.

Rating: 1/5 reviewed: 2024-03-03 by Georgia Holder

As an avid traveler who has stayed in numerous hotels across the world, I must say that Isabel's review of Best Western Rosslyn/Iwo Jima has been somewhat exaggerated. While there might be certain aspects that could have been improved, overall, my experience at this hotel was quite satisfying. Firstly, let us address the issue of long queues and delayed check-ins. I must admit that on my first day, there were a few guests ahead of me in line, but it was not as horrendous as Isabel had made it sound. Moreover, the front desk staff were polite and apologetic about the delay, which went a long way in soothing any frustration that I might have had. Furthermore, to my surprise, they even offered me some complimentary snacks while I waited. As for the missing reservation fiasco, I do not recall encountering such an issue during my check-in process. In fact, the front desk agent was able to locate my booking promptly and provided me with all the necessary details without any further delays. Regarding the strange smell from the nearby room, I must admit that it did pique my curiosity as well. However, upon further investigation, I discovered that it was merely a cleaning issue and not anything more serious like theft or danger. The hotel staff were promptly notified, and they resolved the matter within minutes. Contrary to Isabel's claims, the individual who caused a commotion in the lobby did not seem disoriented or confused. In fact, he appeared to be agitated and restless but was eventually calmed down by the hotel security personnel. As for the safety of the hotel, I must say that I felt quite secure during my stay. The staff were vigilant and kept a watchful eye on all guests. They also had proper protocols in place to address any unforeseen incidents, which gave me a sense of assurance. In terms of cleanliness, while there might have been some signs of wear and tear, I would not go as far as calling the hotel "dirty" as Isabel did. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with fresh linen and toiletries provided. Moreover, the staff were quick to address any cleaning requests that I had during my stay. In conclusion, while there might be some aspects of the Best Western Rosslyn/Iwo Jima that could have been improved, overall, my experience was quite positive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and secure stay in Arlington. The location is prime, the staff are courteous, and the facilities are satisfactory. In comparison to Isabel's review, which seemed overly critical and exaggerated, my own perspective paints a more balanced and nuanced picture of this hotel. It is essential to view reviews with a grain of salt and not let them completely color one's opinion about a place.
